Note to You
Thank you for taking the time to check us out. Our passion is presented in our mission statement—Connecting our Community to Christ. Our community involves your world. Whether you are part of our community by physically being here or you join us by logging on to one of our live streaming worship services at 9:30 and 11:00 A.M., you are welcome. Our 9:30 A.M. worship service is progressive in nature and appeals to a younger audience (although all ages attend this service). The 11:00 A.M. worship service is our multi-style worship that has hymns and praise choruses. Our choir and orchestra play a significant role in this service as well as our 8:00 A.M. worship service which is not viewed online.
We are a church that is truth-driven and grace-oriented. We believe that truth without grace can lead to a spirit that tends to define Christianity in terms of “Do’s” and “Don’ts.” We believe that grace without truth can lead to a spirit of “do anything you want and get forgiveness later.” We believe that truth and grace leads to God’s remarkable freedom. We are a truth and grace church. We share the uncompromising truth of God’s Word in a spirit of love holding out God’s promise of grace.
My desire is that today you will get connected to Christ. If you have never received Jesus Christ into your life through turning to Him and turning away from your sin and trusting Him as the only way to salvation, then that is the beginning of a connection with God. If you have already done that then I encourage you to connect daily with God through an open Bible and prayer. If you live in the Lakeland area we would love to connect with you in person this Sunday or if you don’t live near Lakeland please continue to connect with us regularly through our web site. As pastor of this great church I truly desire to link you with that which will transform your life.
Blessings,
Pastor Jay
