About the church in Asia

With 99.9% of the population unreached for Christ in our target area of Asia, we will use many tools to develop relationships with the people who live in this region. Since many of these people are nomads we will be providing tents and Yaks which these families can use to increase their quality of life and become sources of livelihood. Many worship false gods never knowing the "one" true God who can give them eternal life.

This past summer four men from Church at the Mall travelled to Asia. While there they were able to minister to Tibetans through prayer and sharing the Gospel. The group worked alongside Jonathan W., the field coordinator/church planter in Asia to start the center which will be the church plant. Due to being in a nation that is closed to the Gospel this church plant will be using an in-road to share the love of Jesus. Since opening the doors last month, they have ministered to three families.  One of the families currently in the home has a 12 year-old daughter who recently had surgery to remove TB from the bones in her knee. They have proactively been asking for prayer for their family, which is an amazing step towards the Lord. This special center is managed by two national believers who have a passion to reach the Tibetan people

Mission Trip Opportunity:

Dates: Summer 2012 (2 weeks) Tentative
Approx. Cost: $2,550.00 (Passport cost is not included)
Cost Includes: insurance, Round trip airfare from Orlando. Personal Visa, meals, lodging, ground transportation and travel

Purpose of the Trip
To work with nationals there in development of the RS7 church plant, to visit actual RS7 church plant site, to prayer walk the church plant area to be a part of a humanitarian project with the nationals, to take ministry supplies & resources to those who can use them as evangelism tools.

Trip Team Meetings
There will be several team meetings for those going on the trip. These meetings will be scheduled & announced through. the FBC Worship Guide, FBC Website, our Missions Office and through our Connect Groups.

Praying for Asia
Pray for JW, CW, CJ and D as they continue to minister to those in the area.
That God will continue to give our missionaries and church planter favor with the Tibetan government.
For the families being ministered to that they will turn from the darkness to the light of Jesus.
For those who have given their lives to Christ in a persecuted land, that they will stay strong in the faith.
