welcome to church at the mall careers

The First Baptist Church at the Mall houses a beautiful facility and has 400,000 square feet and sits on 36 acres that border Lake Parker. It houses a large sanctuary, small chapel, classrooms, kitchen and large multi‐purpose rooms, restrooms, guest services, coffee shop and a large open common area or more often referred to as “Main Street.” A friendly and welcoming environment is fostered where all people have the opportunity to have their spiritual needs met.

Our sincere desire is to equip and encourage believers of every age to be fully committed followers of Christ. First Baptist Church at the Mall is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. We adhere to a statement of generally held convictions called The Baptist Faith & Message.

There are many vibrant ministries for every age group; beginning with Pre‐School, Children’s and Student ministry, Wingman Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Connect Groups for adults.

First Baptist Church at the Mall has a heart for the truly needy. Care and concern is implemented through various ministries. One such ministry is Compassion House which provides groceries and clothing for approximately 200 individuals and families each week. Another Is Breaking Bread Café which serves delicious hot meals Tuesday and Thursday evenings to anyone needing a meal.

Missions are at the center of the heart of First Baptist Church at the Mall. Every year 300‐400 members participate in mission trips to many cities and countries around the world including Africa, Cuba, New York City, Brazil, Columbia, Hungary, India, and East Asia. We have established churches on seven continents. It is our desire to make disciples who overflow God’s presence everywhere we go.
