Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is a faith-based organization dedicated to providing Christ-centered services to children and families in need.  It has been in existence for over 100 years.  There are 6 campuses throughout the state and 14 different locations.  Florida Baptist Children’s Homes has various programs including group homes and shelter care for children, adult developmental services, foster care, adoptions, safe families, and an international missions program.

What if every foster child in Lakeland was placed in a loving, Christian home?  The Lakeland office of Florida Baptist Children’s Homes works in partnership with First Baptist Church at the Mall.  Training classes are held at the church for families interested in foster or adoptive care.  There are many ways you can get involved with Florida Baptist Children’s Homes from becoming a foster parent to becoming a prayer partner to volunteering on our campus.  Please contact Savannah Forquer, Family Support Counselor, at 863-688-4981 or , too.
