Christ in the Passover will show the link between the ancient Festival of Redemption & Christ as the Lamb using visual items from the Passover.  12) Shirley challenges each of Us to call someone who was not in class this week.  13) Prayer Requests need to be WRITTEN down on the slips of paper provided in class each week. When they are spoken, it is very hard to write all of them down correctly because there is so many. Please make sure to write them down for Me. Thank You! 14) Next Sunday, April 10th, Jay will be starting a lesson on the Book of Hebrews. He is asking everyone to read the book of Hebrews & be prepared to ask questions in Class. 　I’ve been quite heavy hearted this week & I turned it all over to God. At the same time though, I’ve been reading My Bible & I found these verses to be very helpful to Me. I hope they might help You, as much as they have helped Me, if You’re going through difficult times. Psalm 9:9-10 says: “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Just another reminder that God is ALWAYS there for Us no matter what We’re going through in Our lives.  It is Our Prayer that each & every one of You has a very safe & Blessed week. This week’s thought concerns the time We are living in. I’ve titled it, “We are living in the End Times.” Our Scripture tonight comes from the book of Matthew 24:4 - 7. Jesus answered : “Watch out that no one deceives You. For many will come in My name, claiming, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars & rumors of wars, but see to it that You are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” The question I pose to You, Jesus spoke these words many years ago & with everything going on in the news that We see every day, in rapid succession, do You believe We’re living in the end times? Let Me give You some examples. 2005, Central Florida, 3 Hurricanes come through Central Florida in a 3 week period. In 2006, Saddam Hussein wins the hearts of His people but in the end, His people overthrew Him. Haiti‘s, Chile‘s, and Japan’s and other third world countries people are going hungry for lack of nourishment & clean water. Folks, these are clearly signs that the end is near. The Bible has spoken of these Prophesies & they are coming true right before Our eyes. We can not change these events. They are set in stone & put into action by the Almighty Lord, Himself. So, what are We to do? We must continue to do our Mission, as followers of Christ. Do not let Your heart be hardened by the events unfolding before Us. Just think of it as one step closer to the glorious appearing of Our Lord & Savior. Continue to spread the Word of Peace, Joy & Salvation. For those who have ears to hear & eyes to see, have a soul to be saved. So, all I can ask of You, My Family in Christ, is continue to Worship Our Lord & Savior with a joyful heart & continue to lead people to Salvation. Hundreds of people are coming to Christ everyday & starting to trust Him as their Personal Savior. And if We continue Our work, there will be a multitude of Believers just waiting to get through that gate.
