From Pastor Jay

Thank you for visiting our Church at the Mall website!  I hope you can feel the excitement of what God is doing in this place!  Since February of 1996 God has allowed me to lead this church whose great people have never learned to say “No” to God!  Together we are on an incredible journey of faith.

As you navigate through our website you will see our passion. We are passionate about people Connecting to God, Growth and Ministry.  We want people to connect to God by receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; obey Jesus’ command to be baptized, and experience God in worship.  We want people to connect to growth by joining our church family, getting involved in a connect group, and being accountable to God and others to live according to what the Bible teaches.  We want people to connect to ministry by sharing their faith, being involved in missions, and using their spiritual gifts to serve the Lord by ministering to people in need.

Let me take a moment to share with you why FBC at the Mall is unique:

1. Our facility is the former Lakeland Mall.  We have renovated almost every area of the old mall and use it to reach people.  Our Worship Center is where Sam’s Club was located.  The large halls, theaters, and space have allowed us to do things that we otherwise could not.
2. We believe the church is grown and strengthened through Connect Groups or Sunday School.  We place great emphasis on our Connect Groups and everyone being a part of a specific group in order to grow spiritually and build healthy relationships.
3. We have a missions strategy called RS7 (Revelation Strategy 7) where we have committed to Planting 1 Church on 7 Continents in 3 Years.
4. We have three distinct worship services with three distinct styles on Sunday morning. Our 8:00 A.M. worship service features hymns and familiar older choruses. Our 9:30 A.M. worship service is a progressive style featuring newer songs. Our 11:00 A.M. worship service blends hymns, choruses, worship songs, choir, and orchestra together.
