3 Ways to Join

  1. BY BAPTISM - I have accepted Christ as my personal Savior, I need to be baptized by immersion, and I agree with the essential beliefs of First Baptist Church at the Mall as taught in the New Members Connection class
  2. BY STATEMENT - I have accepted Christ as my personal Savior, I have been baptized by immersion, and I agree with the essential beliefs of First Baptist Church at the Mall as taught in the New Members Connection class
  3. BY LETTER - I have accepted Christ as my personal Savior, I have been baptized by immersion, I agree with the essential beliefs of First Baptist Church as taught in the New Members Connection class and am currently a member of another church that I would like to transfer my letter from there to First Baptist Church at the Mall.

New Members' Connection is the class that anyone wishing to join First Baptist Church at the Mall as a member is required to attend. First Baptist Church at the Mall has just 3 requirements for church membership: 

  1. Salvation
  2. Baptism by Immersion after Salvation
  3. Attendance at New Members Connection and Agreement with the Essential Beliefs of First Baptist Church at the Mall as taught in the New Members Connection class.

Upcoming New Members' Connection Dates:
(no preregistration is required)

Wednesday June 26th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Life Training Center (room 680)

Sunday August 4th from 9:30am to noon in the Life Training Center (room 680)

Sunday September 8th from 9:30am to noon in the Life Training Center (room 680)

Sunday October 6th from 9:30am to noon in the Life Training Center (room 680)

Sunday November 3rd from 9:30am to noon in the Life Training Center (room 680)

Sunday December 1st from 9:30am to noon in the Life Training Center (room 680)

New Members' Connection is led by Executive Pastor Steve Davis, Pastor of Discipleship Terryl Delaney, Angie Dennis (Pastor Jay’s wife), and guests.

New Members' Connection is mandatory for all those desiring church membership, and is also open to anyone desiring more information on the history, beliefs, mission and vision of our church. Refreshments will be served.

New Members will meet Pastor Jay at the conclusion of the classes scheduled on Sunday mornings.

It is suggested those planning to attend the class on Sunday morning please take advantage of the 8am worship service that day.
