The Praise Team is a special group of worshipers and singers who are called upon to lead the congregation and the Music and Worship Ministry.  The Praise Team is an auditioned ensemble of vocalists, drawn directly from the Worship Choir.  Participation in Worship Choir is a prerequisite of every Praise Team member.  Members also must be strong music readers and memorizers, and have an independent ear to find vocal harmonies.  This group leads worship in both the 8:00 Traditional and 11:00 Blended services, weekly.  Individual members rotate participation about every 3-4 weeks.  Additional Sunday commitment and rehearsal time is expected. 

As 'Lead Worshipers', the expectation for the Praise Team is high.  Members are called to be musically and spiritually prepared every week to lead our congregation to the Throne of God.  The opportunity to lead is held in high regard and we ask a great deal of this group.  However, the reward of service is worth the effort.
