Connect to God through Worship
God created us to worship Him. At Church at the Mall, our goal for everyone who visits or calls this church their home is for the first 'connection' they make is a "Connection to God". The 'Greatest Commandment,' stated in Matthew 22: 36-38, is attainable for all who seek Him:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment.”
Jesus is talking about a complete love for God. Connecting to God with all your heart, soul, and mind in worship, enables the Spirit of God to transform a person. If we are not careful, worship can be shallow and misdirected. Our commitment to John 4:23 drives us every week:
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth..."
Worship at Church at the Mall seeks to be 'in spirit and in truth'. Our desire is for worship to carry us beyond Sunday church participation. Author Louie Giglio states a strong definition which we have adopted as our vision statement for worship;
“Worship is our response, both personal and corporate, to God for who He is and for what He has done, expressed in and by the things we say and the way we live.”
Connect to God in worship at Church at the Mall. Make it a part of your life and how you live it. Choose from two distinct styles of worship across three Sunday services: standard worship at 8:00am and progressive worship at 9:30am and 11:00am.
